The inaugural of Unilog’s recent addition to its Mysore premises, on 10th September, 2011 marked the expansion of Unilog Content Solutions, Mysore Facility. The inaugural took place in the presence of Mr. Achutha Bachalli K., CEO and Chairman of Unilog Content Solutions; Prof. Shivram Malavalli, CMD e-health TBI; and Rtn. T.K. Chittaranjan, member of the Governing council of NIE. Associate Vice presidents Mr. Swamy Besagi and Mr. Umesh were present on this occasion.

On this occasion, Mr. Achutha Bachalli K. in his keynote announced that Unilog has increased its capacity by 25 percent. He also congratulated Mr. Swamy Besagi, scheduled to leave for Philadelphia, US to set up Unilog’s Principal office. It may be noted that Unilog Content Solutions is headquartered in Bangalore and has its largest offshore services centre in Mysore.

Unilog Content Solutions now employs over 400 resources in its Mysore and Bangalore offices. In the past, Unilog Content Solutions had been in news for having launched its 'Technology Innovation Centre' and for bagging the ‘Leading Performer’ Award at the 'STPI- IT Export Awards for the year 2009-2010'.

The two companies have had a very successful 3-year partnership which saw them deliver some large and complex projects for the Electrical Industry. Both Unilog and Datagility have been sponsors and lead participants at the IDEA E-Biz Forum since 2008. This partnership has translated into significant work product being generated for the members of IDEA.

AES has over 180 Power Plants around the globe, and data cleansing is a mission critical service required to ensure better procurement practices. The Panama services roll out is expected to be complete in the next couple of months. This will be followed by supply chain analytics to be performed offshore by Unilog Analysts.

The Masinloc Coal-fired Power plant is a 600MW power plant, located in Masinloc, province of Zambales (Island of Luzon), which has been operational since 1998. This month they contracted Unilog to complete data cleansing services for this power plant. “Unilog services are far reaching in terms of creating efficient procurement processes. We believe this effort will result in more transparent and low-cost procurement for Masinloc”, said Suchit Bachalli, Vice President – Sales at Unilog.

Mikael Lyngsoe, CEO, Stibo Catalog, visited Unilog offices in Bangalore and Mysore as part of a three-day visit to India.

On January 22nd, Mikael visited the Bangalore facility and reviewed Stibo operations with Kim T. Christensen, Global Production Director, Stibo Catalog. The next day the delegation visited Unilog’s new state-of-art facility in Mysore. Mikael Lyngsoe inaugurated the new meditation center built for the Unilog staff.

The powerful combination of STIBO’s STEP system with Unilog’s accurate data cleansing services will be an asset for Hagemeyer’s efforts in putting out a great catalog.
