Product Marketing Manager

Job Location: US WFH

Job Summary: 

In collaboration with the sales, product management, R&D, and marketing teams, the Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the Company’s product rollout plans, product messaging, sales tools creation, competitive analysis, analyst relations, and development of other marketing collateral. The individual is also responsible for the content development and delivery of marketing webinars, seminars, speaking opportunities, and other marketing-related activities as deemed necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define and participate in the product release process with responsibility for creating messaging, data sheets, technical papers, competitive briefs, product value/benefit presentations,
  • Document and train sales team on customer use cases and business impact of solutions
  • Develop messaging and deliver presentations for trade shows, local seminars, and marketing webinars; occasional trade show attendance required
  • Create content for the company’s website and corporate brochures
  • Perform competitive/market research and analysis; develop related tools and messaging for sales
  • Manage analyst relations with multiple firms to achieve desired outcomes
  • Support corporate public relations projects
  • Contribute to content creation in the form of blog posts, whitepaper, video presentations,
  • Ad-hoc marketing-related projects as deemed necessary by management
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Job Duties:

  • Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the Company’s objectives, policies, and applicable laws.  Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, planning, assigning, and directing work, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing employee concerns, and partnering with Human Resources to resolve escalated employee matters.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in relevant field of study such as Marketing

Experience:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in product marketing, technical sales or technical marketing, or business development positions
  • 3+ years in eCommerce experience (preferably B2B)
  • Proven ability to take technical concepts and create messaging that is simple, compelling, and memorable
  • Proven ability to deliver top-level presentations, with knack for articulating concepts to internal and external customers, vendors, and prospects of all levels (IT, executive, marketing, analyst, etc.)

Technical Skills:

  • Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Familiar with software development methodologies

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk for 6-8 hours a day
  • Ability to work on a computer for 6-8 hours a day
  • Ability to work long and unpredictable hours
  • Up to 15% travel may be required
