Strategy
The Bourneuf Corporation has proudly served their Massachusetts community for over 130 years, evolving from a traditional plumbing and heating wholesaler into a business with both wholesale and retail offerings. But their digital presence hadn’t kept up. Their previous website wasn’t cutting it—customers couldn’t browse their full product selection, and in-store consultations still relied on handwritten notes and pricing.
That’s when Bourneuf decided it was time for a digital transformation. They partnered with Unilog to bring their retail showroom experience online and provide a more modern, efficient way to shop. The goal: make product discovery easier, simplify the quoting process, and give customers a way to interact with the showroom team before ever stepping foot in the store.
Solution
Bourneuf launched an interactive digital showroom using Unilog’s CX1 Showroom platform, paired with the CX1 SPEX Builder tool. The new site gave customers access to their full line of decorative plumbing products online, complete with filtering tools, real-time pricing, and the ability to build and share wish lists.
This transformation gave their small showroom a big boost. Customers could now create and discuss project wish lists with staff before visiting, saving time for everyone. Staff could build detailed quotes in minutes, not hours, and access any customer’s project notes instantly.
As Showroom Manager Kristen Gildea put it, “That’s what I love the most about this site – how interactive it is. Our prior sites were nothing like this.”
