Product Features and Differentiation
What is CX1 Sigma?
CX1 Sigma is a new, next-generation eCommerce product designed to meet the future digital commerce needs of independently owned distributors, wholesalers, and specialty retailers. It will retain all the robust features of CX1 CIMM2 but is designed to be a multitenant eCommerce product, will have expanded CMS capabilities, feature a new product extensibility layer, and will be upgradeable with future product releases.
Why did Unilog decide to build CX1 Sigma?
Unilog is committed to innovation and leadership in the digital commerce space. We built CX1 Sigma to address the evolving needs of our customers in an increasingly competitive and fast-paced market. This product is a response to the demand for more flexible, scalable, and extendable eCommerce solutions that can grow with our client‘s businesses while still being upgradeable as new product releases become available.
Why was the name "CX1 Sigma" chosen for the new product?
The name CX1 Sigma encapsulates the essence of innovation and excellence that this product will embody. The prefix “CX1” aligns with our existing – Customer Experience First (CX1) Platform – indicating a seamless part of our broader product strategy and portfolio. “Sigma” symbolizes the totality, comprehensive feature set, and all-in-one nature of this Unilog eCommerce product, as well as our aim for continuous improvement and quality.
How is CX1 Sigma different from CX1 CIMM2?
While retaining the features of CX1 CIMM2, CX1 Sigma is designed to be a multitenant eCommerce product featuring expanded CMS capabilities and product extensibility layer and will be upgradeable with future product feature releases. It’s designed to be highly adaptable and scalable to the evolving needs of our customers.
Will CX1 Sigma be able to leverage Unilog’s CX1 PIM & CX1 Product Content Services?
Yes, CX1 Sigma has been designed to work with or without Unilog’s CX1 PIM and CX1 Product Content services similar in nature and function to CX1 CIMM2.
Will CX1 Sigma be able to take new feature upgrades in the future?
Yes, CX1 Sigma is being built with upgradeability support in mind. Post-launch, and as new and improved features are added, CX1 Sigma product users will be able to take advantage of new features. Unilog wants to ensure that CX1 Sigma remains at the cutting edge of eCommerce technology.
Availability, Transition, and Planning
When will CX1 Sigma be available to customers?
The specific timeline for customer availability will be communicated in the coming months; however, we are targeting customer Beta installations in Q4 of 2024 with General Availability in Q1 of 2025. Further information specific to our launch will be provided in due course.
What will happen to CX1 CIMM2?
CX1 CIMM2 will continue to be supported and maintained. We value your reliance on CX1 CIMM2 and we will ensure a smooth transition for those who choose to re-platform to CX1 Sigma over time.
As a CX1 CIMM2 user will I be required to move to CX1 Sigma in the future?
There is currently no requirement for CX1 CIMM2 customers to re-platform to CX1 Sigma when it is launched. Our priority is to continue providing full support for CX1 CIMM2. We will keep you informed about any future developments and should any changes in support or service require a transition, we will communicate these well in advance to ensure a smooth and well-planned product migration process.
Should I be considering a product migration to CX1 Sigma?
Yes. With all of the benefits of CX1 Sigma, Unilog encourages all of our CX1 CIMM2 customers to be considering a migration to CX1 Sigma over time. In particular, those customers considering a site redesign, planning significant investments in their digital channel, or looking to supercharge their digital strategy etc.
Will there be a cost to re-platforming CX1 Sigma?
As part of the pre-launch phase of CX1 Sigma, we are still evaluating customer programs for those who wish to consider a migration to CX1 Sigma. Please be assured that as we develop these programs, we are keeping the best interests of our customers at the forefront of our considerations. We are committed to maintaining transparency throughout this process and will provide full details about any required investments well ahead of time.

How can I stay informed about the latest updates on CX1 Sigma?
Unilog will continue to regularly update the customer FAQ throughout the launch phase. Other ways to stay informed are to schedule a 1:1 with our leadership team members, join our information session, and attend EVOLVE 2024 for in-person demos, workshops, and product roadmap discussions and more.
As it relates to CX1 Sigma what specifically will be discussed at EVOLVE 2024?
