Based in Dallas, Texas, Innovative Packaging Group has been a trusted wholesale distributor of retail packaging supplies for years, combining a physical showroom with dedicated customer service. But behind the scenes, their digital workflow was creating friction. Online orders were emailed and had to be entered manually into their ERP system, creating delays and added effort for both customers and sales reps.

To modernize their operations and create a smoother, more personalized buying experience, Innovative Packaging turned to Unilog. Their goal was clear: build a connected eCommerce site that would improve customer access, reduce manual work, and make it easier to manage orders and product info all in one place.

Solution

Innovative Packaging launched a new online storefront using Unilog’s CX1 CIMM2 platform. The site seamlessly integrates with their ERP, giving customers access to real-time pricing, inventory availability, and self-service account tools. A smarter navigation experience, combined with grouped product listings and filtering options, makes it easy for users to find exactly what they need.

On the backend, orders now flow directly into their ERP, eliminating the need for manual entry and speeding up fulfillment. They’re also setting the stage for growth, with plans to onboard more customers, expand their catalog, and introduce a custom print order tool that lets customers design packaging directly online.
